FAQs

Art Handler's Appliance Repair

  • What types of appliances do you repair?

Our services cover all major household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers. We are equipped to handle repairs on most common home appliances.
  • Do you service all major brands?

We provide repair services for all popular appliance brands, such as Whirlpool, GE, LG, Maytag, Bosch, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Amana, and numerous others. If we sell it, we service it.
  • How soon can you come out to diagnose the problem?

We offer prompt appointment scheduling, often providing same-day or next-day service based on your location and our current schedule. Please note that during peak summer season, availability may be limited and scheduling delays may occur.
  • How much does appliance repair typically cost?

The cost of appliance repair varies depending on the specific appliance, required parts, and repair complexity. We provide transparent, upfront estimates before commencing any work, ensuring no hidden fees or unexpected charges. Our appliance repair services typically start at a minimum of $255. This includes our base service fee and a low estimated labor cost for part installation. An itemized quote will be provided after the diagnostic for your review. If you choose not to proceed with the repair based on the quoted cost, our team will provide a $50.00 credit, valid for seven days from your service date, toward replacing the item through our sales department.
  • Do you carry replacement parts with you?

Our service vehicles are stocked with a variety of common replacement parts. However, many certified parts may need to be ordered specifically for your quoted repairs.
  • Are your repairs guaranteed?

We offer a 30-day guarantee on all our repair services. Any service calls related to a previous repair within this 30-day period will not be charged an additional $124.95 + tax service fee. Instead, our technician will return at no charge, with only additional parts and labor billed if applicable. In some cases, related components may also have issues that cannot be identified until the primary part is replaced. For example, if your appliance is not running and there is no response from the control system, our team may not be able to diagnose additional problems until the control is replaced. Once the control restores function, we may discover that another failed component caused the control board to malfunction. These are inherent risks associated with appliance repair. If the same exact part fails again, it is covered under its own warranty for a minimum of 30 to 365 days, depending on the brand.
  • Should I repair or replace my appliance?

For appliances less than 10 years old, repairs are generally more cost-effective. After assessing the issue, we will recommend the most suitable option based on factors such as repair cost, appliance age, and overall condition.
  • What if my appliance is making a strange noise or leaking?

If you notice unusual noises or leaks, we advise turning off the appliance and contacting us immediately. Continued operation may lead to further damage. Our technicians will inspect the issue and restore normal function safely. Our office will provide guidance on appliance operation times when scheduling the service.
  • Do I need to be home during the service?

For safety and accuracy purposes, we prefer that a homeowner or authorized adult be present during the service. Exceptions can be made if remote entry instructions or property management access is provided. As a local and trusted company, we prioritize the security and comfort of our clients.
  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via all major credit and debit cards for your convenience. For safety and security purposes, we no longer allow technicians to accept cash or check payments.
